Hi guys ‘n’ gals
Just a quick update on how our code is progressing. Over the last 2 weeks we have been hard at work creating our base systems as we redesigned some of them, Well in fact most of them . We have been hard at work on the Path finding, Which i must say is just awesome
, The player health system, (This is going to work like health in normal games but with a complete twist —- Get it <— “Normal Games”)
We have also been doing the weapon system, Now although i am not going to go in to too much detail about this as ours is different Most of the frame work for the weapons and the weapon manager is now in place we are just working on a secret part to this to connect the two.
We have also been doing some testing with our AI (Not disclosing ANY names ) And after only 45 minutes we had his base functionality up and running, So yea… You can now officially destroy things and use other things at your disposal to defeat the enemy.
We are hoping for our first functional build by (This Sunday) then we can move onto setting our systems in stone and adding more functionality.
The artists have been at work also making some place holder props for us so we can get a feel of how things will work
Our sound designer has been hard at work creating some concepts of music for us and i have to say it sounds awesome.
I will go back to making videos on Code soon but have just been super super busy.
